Content policy

Last updated: July 2026 — draft for store review

GEEN is a space to share projects and technical discussion. This policy states what is forbidden, how to report it, what happens after a report, and how to appeal.

What is forbidden

Illegal content, content that incites violence or harm, or that invades others’ privacy without a legitimate basis.

Harassment, hateful speech, systematic insults, explicit sexual material, or any exploitation of minors.

Fraud, impersonation, malware, and attempts to hack or disrupt the platform.

Spam, repeated misleading ads, and deliberate manipulation of engagement counters or trends.

Images rejected by automated moderation checks on upload (such as nudity or other blocked categories under moderation settings).

How to report

From the actions menu on a post, reply, project, or profile (usually ⋯), choose Report, pick a reason, and add detail if needed.

If reporting from the UI is not possible, use Contact us with a link to the content when you can.

Do not use reports for ordinary disagreements about technical opinion; focus on violations of this policy.

What happens after a report

The report is recorded and staff are notified inside the platform for review.

We commit to reviewing reports within 72 hours of receipt (three days).

If the number of distinct reporters on the same content reaches an automatic threshold (five reporters), the content may be hidden automatically pending staff review.

Staff may keep the content, hide it, or take account action (restrict, suspend, or ban) based on severity and repeat behavior.

Abuse of the reporting system may impose a cooldown on the reporter. We do not promise to publish every decision to every reporter.

Appeals

If you believe content or an account was hidden or sanctioned in error, contact us via Contact us with a link and your appeal reason.

Staff review appeals and commit to responding within 72 hours of receiving the appeal message.
